Programs shaped by local need
AYES chapters run the programs that matter most where they are — from cleaning up public spaces to certifying new skills to marking national youth moments.
Cleaning Our Environment
A clean environment is everyone's responsibility. AYES volunteers run clean-up campaigns on public grounds and stadiums, properly disposing of waste and protecting nature. Cleanliness isn't just about beauty — it prevents disease, protects air and water, and supports a better quality of life for the whole community.
Practical Skills Training
AYES organizes hands-on training — including photography and videography — that ends with a Certificate of Completion young people can use right away. Training reaches participants of all backgrounds, including students living with disabilities, and is delivered by local facilitators who know the community.
Hygiene & Life-Skills Education
In community classrooms, AYES facilitators support hygiene and life-skills education alongside vocational tools like sewing — practical, everyday knowledge that students carry with them long after the session ends.
National Youth Day Celebrations
AYES volunteers mark national youth days with visibility campaigns and public gatherings — like Zambian Youth Day 2026, themed "Arise and Soar: A Stronger Youth for a Stronger Zambia" — building pride and momentum around youth-led change.
We partner with schools, local leaders & youth groups
